Description

Part of a design course I took; I had to design a chair reflecting an artistic, architectural or sculptural "ism". This final design was inspired by the "curvilinear" shapes in paintings by Joan Miro. It was made using heavy card as a base, plastercine, wire and a bit of floss and painted using acrylic paint. The photo isn't the greatest compared to what it looks like in real life.

I really like this. The shape somehow strikes me as rather imposing. It really looks like something you'd see in a fantasy film. I'm positive it's quite capable of coming alive and keeping you prisoner.
